Thousands of Palestinians protested in Gaza against Israel's West Bank annexation plans, as premier Benjamin Netanyahu held off an announcement on the controversial project.
Netanyahu's centre-right coalition government had said it would begin implementing US President Donald Trump's Middle East peace proposal on 1 July, beginning with the annexation of the West Bank.
Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza took to the streets today to condemn Trump. A rally was organised in Gaza City, while demonstrations were also held in the West Bank cities of Ramallah and Jericho.
