Thousands of people have gathered in the German city of Cologne to protest the mass arrest of HDP deputies including Co-chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ.

The protest demonstration is organised by Germany Platform of Democratic Forces' Unity constituents including NAV-DEM, AABF and ABDEM.

Demonstrators have started a march which will end with a rally in Heumarkt.
