Three-day information tent on Abdullah Öcalan in Zurich

A three-day information tent action was launched in Zurich to protest the isolation imposed on Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan and demand his freedom.

In the action promoted in Rathausbrücke by Zurich Democratic Kurdish Community Center and Beritan Women's Council, a banner with the words "Freedom for Öcalan, status for Kurdistan" was opened.

For three days, activists have been informed about the isolation imposed on Öcalan and the massacres carried out by the Turkish state in Kurdistan.

"We will continue to be in the streets until the freedom of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan is ensured and the occupation attacks and the massacres against the civilian population in Kurdistan end," said in a speech a member of Beritan Women's Council.
