HPG Sinjar Command and YBŞ General Command reported in a written statement that the operation to liberate Sinjar continued.

According to the statement, guerrillas carried out an operational action against ISIS groups around the neighborhood of Xeyr Nasır at 6-7 pm yesterday evening.

Three members of ISIS gangs were killed and two others were wounded in clashes that lasted around one hour. Corpses of the killed gangs as well as their arms were seized by the guerrillas.

On the other hand, aircraft of the international coalition led by the U.S. carried out strikes targeting three separate points of the ISIS at 8-9 pm yesterday evening. No information was obtained regarding the outcomes of the airstrikes.
