Three people who participated the Kobanê resistance have been arrested in İzmir on charges of being members of an armed organisation.

Citizens Fazıl Toplayıcı, İsmail Günay and Süleyman Günay who went to Kobanê from İzmir in the days of resistance were detained by police at their apartment in İzmir yesterday, after sharing the photos they took while in Kobanê on their social media accounts.

After giving statement at police office, the three were referred to the courthouse from where they were referred to a court, demanded to be arrested.

The three men for whom İzmir 4th criminal court of peace issued an arrest warrant on charges of “membership to an armed organisation” have been put in Kırıklar Prison.
