Turkish police had detained 11 people during house raids in Turkish capital Ankara on November 27. The detainees were referred to prosecutor’s office Friday morning and 8 of them were released after giving their statements here.
Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Mamak district administrator Sinan Çiftçi, Ankara University student Zeki Karaviş and a woman by the name of Fatma Kınalı were remanded in custody for “membership to and propagating for a terrorist organisation”.
