Detention period for 15 people who were taken into custody during house raids in Kars province on October 1, including co-mayor Şevin Alaca, has been extended for four days. Detention procedures at the prosecutor’s office have been finalized for Demokrat Haber (Democratic News) agency reporter Selda Manduz, politicians Hazal Ağdeve, İzzet Altig, Sabri Avag, Adem Karataş and Zorba Başkutlu.
Zorba Baskutlu, Hazal Agdeve and İzzet Artuğ were remanded in custody while Adem Karataş, Selda Manduz and Sabri Avag were released on condition of judicial control.
Those remanded in custody were sent to Kars Prison.
