Three villages liberated in Kirkuk

HPG (People's Defense Forces) Kirkuk Command reported in a written statement that an operation has been launched against the villages held by ISIS in the hamlets of Til Werdê and Dubiz in the south of Kirkuk city in South Kurdistan.
According to the statement, the operation is being joined by HPG-YJA Star guerrillas and peshmerga forces, and supported by coalition forces.
As a consequence of the operation which started with an intense bombardment by coalition aircraft early in the morning, the villages of Mekteb Xalid, Sultan Mereb, Nehrewan, and hills around Til Werdê and Xerabe Rût have been taken from the ISIS.
According to the HPG Command, peshmerga forces took the control of the Simayîlaway Gewre, Siyamîlaway Biçûk and Serxe villages in Dubiz district after the ISIS groups fled the region.
