Wrath of Euphrates Operation Room announced earlier today that they will start to encircle Raqqa city center starting from today in the third phase of the Operation Wrath of Euphrates, which was suspended for a week due to adverse weather conditions and has been accelerated again this morning for the encirclement and liberation of Raqqa.
Fighters partaking in the operation have today liberated the village of Jib Xelîl, 25 km northeast of the Euphrates River, and the villages of Abdul Mutenebî and Mihemed al-Ayash, 20 km north of the Euphrates.
Wrath of Euphrates fighters have made an advance of 9 kilometers today as they continue making advances with the goal of cutting off the links between Deir ez-Zor and Raqqa.
