The TKEP / Leninist Central Committee celebrated 1 May, International Workers' Day.
In a written statement celebrating 1 May, the TKEP (Turkey's Communist Labor Party) / Leninist Central Committee said: "The monopolistic capitalist system makes people suffer every day and separates people from their beloved ones every day.
This system of exploitation drags you into a hole of hunger and misery every day. It drags you to the point where you will put an end to your own life, by leaving you hungry and unemployed, by dragging you into poverty and misery, and by forcing you to a point where you cannot bring bread to your children."
The statement added: "The religious fascist government is doing its best to maintain the privileged position of the exploiting class, the wealthy class. All the repression and terror is for this. That's why the police brutally murder people on the street. That's why the power fills the prisons with laborers and those who rebel against this order."
The TKP /Leninist Central Committee ended its remarks by saying: "At a time when conditions of total liberation are emerging, there are those from the religious fascist power who propose to make a few concessions , to carry out reforms. Don't be fooled, don't believe them. Only the united revolution will save us. Only a revolutionary ruling that will seize all the wealth for the benefit of the people will save us."
