According to information received, a trustee was appointed to the municipality of Nusaybin. The city's legitimate and democratically elected HDP co-mayors, Semire Nergiz and Ferhat Kut, have been detained.

The seizure of Nusaybin municipality came after the Turkish state's invasion of Northern and Eastern Syria. The invaders use Nusaybin as one of the centers for their attacks.

The co-mayors of Yüksekova Municipality Irfan Sarı and Remziye Yaşar who were detained on October 15 were remanded in custody.

District Governor Osman Doğramacı was appointed as trustee to Yüksekova Municipality.

Following the appointment of trustees to Amed, Van and Mardin metropolitan municipalities on 19 August, it was the time of Karayazı and Kulp municipalities.
