Lawyers from DBP (Democratic Regions' Party) Law Commission have met DBP Co-chair Sebahat Tuncel who remains in custody since her detention in front of Diyarbakır Courthouse earlier today.

Tuncel sent the following message through the DBP lawyers Şivan Cemil Özen and Cemile Turhallı:

“Every person is a representative itself. Everyone has to do their part. Nobody should be demoralised. We will resist and definitively win. Fascist mindsets are doomed to lose. The arrest of HDP deputies who include Co-chairs is purely an operation of taking hostage. We will never bow down.”
