The Radio and Television Supreme Council has launched a probe into the animated series Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous because of its LGBT+ characters.
"As RTÜK, we closely follow digital platforms. We are determined not to allow content that may negatively impact our children and youth and disregards our values," Ebubekir Şahin, the head of RTÜK, tweeted on Friday (July 29).
"With this awareness, an investigation has been initiated into the production named Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous on the Netflix platform," he wrote.
Over the past week, pro-government media outlets and social media accounts have been calling for a ban on the series.
