According to local sources, Turkish army launched an operation against Kurdish guerrillas in Alibogazi valley between Cemisgezek and Hozat, districts of Dersim province.

Attack helicopters bombed Kinzir forest on Saturday morning. Locals say that Turkish soldiers are moving into the area after the bombardment.

Alibogazi valley is a stronghold of Kurdish guerrillas in Dersim where violent clashes between the guerrillas and Turkish army occurs occasionally.
