The People’s Defence Forces (HPG) Press Office has reported in a written statement that the Turkish army increasingly continues military operations.

On 4 April at 10:00, the Turkish military forces launched an operation with armoured vehicles around the villages of Reşoyê Sıdık and Elîyê Kiça in the Karayazı district of Erzurum, encircling the villages and putting pressure on the inhabitants. The HPG added that the operation was ended at 16:00 without any results.

HPG further reported that Turkish soldiers carried out search activities on 4 May at 04:00 in Başetê village of Lice district of Amed and at 05:00 on Bingöl-Amed highway with many armoured vehicles.
