Zubeyde Acar (75) was alone when Turkish police raided her home in Selahaddin Eyyubi neighbourhood at 4 a.m. on Wednesday. The police said the raid was carried out because of “suspicion”.
Acar was asked of her brother and other family members.
During the raid, Turkish police damaged the property and threw “red-yellow-green” clothes to the floor. Red, yellow and green are the colours of Kurdish flag.
