Turkish soldiers are denying permission to those wanting to cross from Kobanê into North Kurdistan.

A group of people including journalists and representatives of political parties, and DBP (Party of Democratic Regions) Istanbul provincial chair Emrullah Bingül were prevented by Turkish soldiers and police as they wanted to cross back into the North Kurdistan territory after making observations in Kobanê.

Following talks, soldiers were directed to an area near the village of Yumurtalık 3 km west to the border gate.
