According to the information received, Horsel hamlet and surrounding mountainous areas in the borough of Yalimli (Xosor), in Lice, were set on fire by the Turkish army on Sunday evening.
The forest fire broke out during the operation with Armed Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (SİHA) and helicopters.
While the forest fire continues on Monday, no attempt to extinguish the fire has been made by the army so far.
