Twenty people have been detained in Van while working on the election campaign of the HDP.

According to information received HDP members have been taken into custody by police after theyr houses were raided.

The HDP members arrested have been named as: Mahmut Çelebi, Halil Yıldız, Osman Sevinç, Ekrem Nadiroğlu, Kamuran Ataman, Yıldırım Hasar, Zehra Hezer, Faris Can, Halit Koç, Veysi Efe, Halit Baran, Çetintaş Mahallesi Muhtarı.

The HDP members detained have been taken to Erciş Gendarmery and to police station.
