The ISIS has recently expanded its attacks. In Iraq, the regions around Mosul, Kirkuk, Khanaqin, Diyala, Anbar and Tal Afar are particularly affected. Another attack took place on Tuesday in the Iraqi district of Anbar.

According to the Iraqi Army Command, Brigadier General Ahmad al-Lami and another officer were killed. Two other soldiers were injured as a result of the attack.
