HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) office in Yenişehir district of western Bursa province was targeted by an armed attack late Wednesday evening.

The attack by unidentified assailant(s), which was reportedly carried out with pump rifles, came after the noise-making protest of HDP Yenişehir district organisation today evening.

HDP Yenişehir district branch co-chair Rahmi Dağyar suffered injuries on an arm and chin, while former district co-chair Hasan Ural got injured on different parts of his body.

While both were hospitalized and are in good medical condition now, police forces were dispatched to the scene of the attack which also damaged the office.
