SDF fighters have captured two ISIS members who were preparing to commit a massacre in a village near Tabqa.
According to an ANHA (Hawar News Agency) report, SDF fighters detected two ISIS members who were preparing to attack the mosque in al-Hadaj village near Tabqa town of Raqqa.
After tracking the ISIS members Abû Mihemed and Abû Hemam, SDF fighters captured both of them as they were about to leave an explosive in the Al-Xîlafa mosque in the village.
The explosive of 1,5 kg TNT was then defused by SDF's expert squad, after which SDF teams started search efforts in the area.
Reports suggest that the ISIS members were planning to detonate the bomb during tarawih prayer.
Villagers also helped the SDF fighters in the capture of the ISIS members who were later handed over to relevant authorities within the SDF.
