Two memorials for Robert Jarowoy in Hamburg

Robert Jarowoy, an old friend of the Kurdish Freedom Struggle, who died of lung cancer on September 21, was commemorated with a march in Hamburg.

Jarowoy's friends and comrades, politicians and Kurds attended the march that started in front of the Altona district municipality, where Robert Jarowoy was a politician for many years.

The march ended at Kemal Altun Platz near Jarowoy's house.

Speaking at the rally held after the march, KCDK-E co-chair Yüksel Koç said that they were deeply sorry for the loss of Robert Jarowoy, and said that Jarowoy accompanied the struggle of the Kurdish people for 40 years.

A second commemoration for Robert Jarowoy was held in the cultural center Fabrik with the participation of his family and close friends.

At the event held here, a cinevision about Robert Jarowoy's life was screened.

At both events, Kurdish artists Seyitxan, Xemgin Birhat and Ozan Aydın took the stage and sang Kurdish songs in memory of Robert Jarowoy.
