While Kurds across Turkey and North Kurdistan take to the streets to condemn the February 15 international plot against Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan, demos are traditionally being suppressed by police by use of force.
Masses staging a march in Demirtaş neighborhood of southern province of Mersin were also attacked by police with guns and tear gas, which left a 17-year-old youth by the name of Doğan Kaylan wounded by a bullet in a foot. Another minor whose ID details weren't immediately available was also injured after being hit by a tear gas canister fired by police. Both have been rushed to hospital and taken under treatment.
On the other hand, police teams also blockaded the Yenipazar neighborhood where they targeted a building with intense gunfire despite there being no activity in the area.
