Two thousand people from Mosul are waiting on the border to cross into Rojava after the beginning of the operation to liberate the city from ISIS occupation.

According to United Nations High Commissioner For Refugees, 50-60 thousand people from Mosul have migrated to Rojava this year.

The wave of migration from Mosul is expected to increase during the coming days amid the ongoing operations to liberate the city.
