A woman and her son were wounded as result of a mine explosion while crossing from the West into the North Kurdistan side of the border.
A mine exploded while the 55 years old woman and her 28-year-old son tried to cross the border into North Kurdistan, from an area close to the village of Kurdo, in Bilbilê town in Efrîn town of West Kurdistan, last night.
The explosion has left both wounded, with the woman having suffered a serious injury on the right foot, and her son slightly injured on both feet.
The wounded mother and son were rushed by the people around to the Avrîn Hospital in Efrîn, and taken under treatment. The woman is reported to have undergone surgery and in critical condition.
