Turkish police opened fire on a car in which youths celebrating a birthday were travelling in Istanbul's Gazi neighborhood last night. Two youths in the car lost their lives and one other was wounded as result of the attack.

The slain youths are reported to be Barış Kerem from Dersim and Oğuzhan Erkul from Tokat province. Ramazan Altürk, who got heavily wounded in the attack, continues receiving treatment.
