Green Left Party co-spokesperson Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar voted in Gazi Primary School in Istanbul.

Making a statement after casting her vote, Uçar said: “For a long time, we have talked about injustice, poverty, violence in Turkey, because of things that are not good for society. We promised prosperity, fraternity and coexistence in a democratic country after this election. We want to have time to talk about them. We have left a century behind. After this election, we want to have a parliament in Turkey that puts all of Turkey's permanent problems on its agenda and produces solutions. We hope for a constitution that protects the rights and laws of all people. We promise a democratic republic.”
