The United Nations Human Rights Commission’s Syria human rights observers issued their new written report and stated that 283 thousand people died over the past 5 years in Syria.
Among the casualties, 81.436 were civilians, 10.040 were children, 9.106 were women, 48.568 were ‘members of the opposition and terrorist organizations,’ and 47.095 were ‘foreign members of terrorist organizations.’
The report stating that 283 thousand people died during the 5 yearlong civil war in Syria was shared with the public in Geneva.
Syria Center for Policy Research (SCPR) had earlier announced that 470.000 died and 1.9 million people got injured during the civil war in Syria so far. SCPR had also claimed that the healthcare system and infrastructure of Syria were almost completely destroyed.
