Urban warfare starts in Kobanê -FLASH
Urban warfare has started in Kobanê where the resistance by YPG/YPJ forces has left 21 days behind today.
Thousands of civilians in the besieged town are under the threat of massacre by inhuman ISIS gangs that have been intensely attacking the town since 15 September.
According to the reports by correspondents on the ground, clashes have become fiercer on the eastern front as ISIS gangs continue to attack with heavy weaponry they dispatched from Iraq and Syria.
In the meantime, thousands of people joining the vigil in the Suruç district of Urfa have started to head towards the village of Etmanek where ISIS gangs are launching attacks on Kobanê from the border after it was forcibly evacuated by Turkish troops and police forces in the last two days. Security forces forbid entrance to the area today.
Thousands of people from the villages of Alizer, Qop, Bethê, Dewşen, Boyde and Swêdê are on the way to the Etmanek village. Announcements are being made in Suruç calling on people to march to the Kobanê border.
A large number of civilians from Kobanê are in the meantime crossing into Suruç after the beginning of the urban battle in the town.
HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) has called on people to urgently take to the streets in protest against the ISIS attacks and AKP government's attitude against Kobanê, warning that the situation in Kobanê was quite critical.
