Kurdish women will organize vigil each Wednesday in the French capital to demand the enlightenment of execution of three Kurdish politicians, Sakine Cansız, a co-founder of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), fidan Doğan, representative of the Kurdistan National Congress (KNK) in Paris, and Leyla Şaylemez, member of the Kurdish youth movement, in Paris on 9 January.
The vigil, led by Kurdish Woman's Movement, will take place every week until light is shed on the killings of three Kurdish women. Demonstrators will gather in front of the Kurdish Cultural Association in Paris at 13:00 and stage a sit-in in front of the Kurdistan Information Office, the scene of the killings,every Wednesday.
Demonstrators will also send a letter to the French Ministry of Justice today.
In a statement on the vigil, Zin Kurdish Woman's Association in Paris called on all women and patriotic people of Kurdistan and their friends to join the protest to demand justice for three Kurdish women.
