Village guards kill three brothers in Urfa

Village guard Müslüm Toraman and his sons have murdered Zeki, Murat and İmam (Salih) Boğakça brothers with whom they had a quarrel in Urfa.

Hêcek (Höyükyanı) village headman and village guard (local armed by the state) alongside his two sons had a quarrel with Boğakça brothers over irrigation in their fields in Çerxê (Yolbilir) neighborhood of Urfa’s central Eyyubiye district.

The quarrel turned into an armed attack in a short while. The attack by the village guard and his sons left four brothers, Zeki, Murat, İmam and Ahmet Boğakça, wounded and they were taken to different hospitals for treatment.

Three of the four brothers, Zeki, İmam and Murat lost their life.
