Turkish warplanes have been flying over the guerrilla-controlled Media Defense Areas since early Monday morning.

No information has yet been received whether or not the warplanes carried out a bombardment in the area.

On the other hand, an unmanned aerial vehicle (Heron) is also said to be flying over guerrilla areas since 9 a.m. on Monday morning.

The activity in the region came following the ceasefire PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party), KCK (Kurdish Communities Union) and HPG (People's Defense Forces) called on 23 March in response to the peace call Kurdish leader Abdullh Öcalan made in Newroz in Amed on the 21st.
