Women Councils in the Netherlands have arranged preparations for a rally in Dutch city The Hague to condemn the Shengal genocide on its 3rd anniversary.
Women's Council in the Netherlands released a written statement on the occasion of the 3rd anniversary of the Shengal genocide, and recalled that throughout history 73 massacres were decreed upon the Êzidîs, an ancient community of Mesopotamia.
The statement of the Women's Council stressed that in the last genocide on 3 August 2014 perpetrated by the fascist AKP and ISIS barbarians, not only thousands of Êzidîs were massacred, but also thousands of Êzidî women and children were abducted, who are still in the hands of the barbarian gangs of ISIS.
The statement noted that the threats and dangers on Shengal's population still have not ceased to be even after 3 years have passed since the massacr, and said: "The obvious reason for that situation derives from the enmity towards the Kurdish people in the Middle East, and therefore the Êzidî community will only be able to survive, when they rebuild their life along with the establishment of a strong Self-Defense mechanism.
As humanity will never forgive the fascist massacre in Shengal, we call on all women and our friends in the Netherlands to stand up in solidarity with Shengal and Rojava."
The rally for the condemnation of the Shengal genocide will be staged tomorrow in front of the municipality of The Hague, at 11:00.
