Istanbul 10th High Criminal Court on Tuesday has issued its verdict in the MLKP case involving 29 defendants including bianet writer Füsun Erdoğan, journalists Bayram Namaz, Sedat Şenoğlu, İbrahim Çiçek, Ziya Ulusoy and Arif Çelebi.

The convicted defendants Ali Hıdır Polat, Naci Dayser, Ziya Ulusoy, Bayram Namaz, Arif Çelebi, İbrahim Çiçek and bianet writer Füsun Erdoğan to life sentence. 

All of these defendants were also convicted up to 3,000 years of prison for getting involved in 155 incidents within MLKP. They also received an addition of 24 years for various charges. 

The court issued an arrest warrant for Ziya Ulusoy. Erkan Özdemir was convicted to 3 years 1 month 15 days of prison on the top of his life sentence.
