Members of the Kurdish youth organizations TCŞ and TEKO-Jin have called for freedom for Abdullah Öcalan with a silent protest organised in Altona, Hamburg.
The action took place on the occasion of the offensive “Time for Freedom is Now” (Dem dema azadiyê). The activists carried posters with the portrait of Abdullah Öcalan, who was illegally abducted from Kenya to Turkey on 15 February, and handed out flyers with information about Öcalan and the current situation.
The youth group has announced that it will implement further actions in the coming weeks.
