Muhammed Orhan was detained following house raids carried out by police in Van on 29 January.

The Prosecutor's Office referred Orhan to the court with the allegation that he threw stones at the police in the action carried out by the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) in the city on 8 January, with the slogan "Now is the time to ensure national unity and freedom". Orhan was arrested on the allegation of "committing a crime on behalf of an illegal organization".

Those detained within the scope of the same operation and whose numbers cannot be established are expected to be referred to the court today.
