In a written statement issued by the YPS-JIN Martyr Berfin Cizre Retaliation Team, the group claimed responsibility for an action against the workshop of an AKP-MHP collaborator in Adana. "Our members carried out a sabotage action targeting the AKP-MHP collaborator fascist furniture workshop in Adana's central Seyhan district Akkapı neighborhood on 26 January, as part of the ‘Time to Ensure Freedom' campaign. As a result of the action, the 2,000 square meter factory belonging to a fascist person was largely destroyed.”

The statement also said: "The fascist Turkish state attacks mothers and women who support the rising resistance in prisons and jails hundreds of them. We, as self-defense forces, retaliate against these attacks everywhere. We will continue to carry out our actions. In the face of fascist attacks, life is only possible through resistance and action. Our voices are harsh, our eyes are sharp, our actions will be successful against traitors and femicide."
