Long March in Germany enters day 4

The action promoted in Hanau by TEKO-JIN, TCŞ and internationalists as an alternative to the Long March, entered day 4.

The internationalist action week for the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan started in Hanau on Friday. The action week is the alternative program for the annual "Long March" to Strasbourg in February, because the original planning with participants from different countries had to be changed due to coronavirus pandemic.

Today activists will meet at Darmstadt train station at 2 pm and march to Friedensplatz.

The activists, who will walk for about 2 hours, will hold a rally at Friedensplatz. Artists affiliated to TEV-ÇAND will also participate in the rally and give a music concert.

On Sunday TCŞ, TEKO-JIN and internationalists carried out an action at Domplatz in Mainz.

A support panel was organized for Boğaziçi University students.

At the panel, activists condemned the pressure exerted by the AKP-MHP war coalition on society and sent messages of solidarity to the Boğaziçi student resistance. Later, a statement was made with the participation of YXK Germany young components.
