Three Kurds living in Helsinki ran 42, 20 and 7 kilometres to protest the conspiracy against Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Three Kurds living in Helsinki ran 42, 20 and 7 kilometres to protest the conspiracy against Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Idris Al Oso, Shevan Rasheed and Gelo Jîmhan decided to protest the international conspiracy which led to the capture of Abdullah Öcalan on 15 Febaruary 1999 with a run.
Despite the winter conditions Al Oso ran 42 kilometres, Rasheed 20 kilometres, and Jîmhan 7 kilometres.
Stating that they were running to protest the February 15 conspiracy and the isolation against Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan, Al Oso said that his run took 3 hours and 40 minutes. Al Oso added that they received public support during the run.
The runners ended their actions by reading a statement.
