French Inter radio journalist Pierre Haski, who evaluated the political genocide operations against the Kurds and the accusations against the PKK and the United States after the invasion attacks of the Turkish state in Gare, drew attention to the fact that these accusations could backfire on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Reminding that more than 700 HDP members were detained on February 15, Haski said: “Turkey arrested several hundred HDP executives. Despite the ruling of the European Court of Human Rights, Selahattin Dermitaş remains in prison since 2016.”

Haski concluded with the following assessment: “The Turkish President also seems determined to drive the new American administration into a corner, but this situation may backfire.”
