The Freedom for Öcalan Vigil in Strasbourg demanding the end of isolation imposed on the Kurdish people's leader as well as his freedom has reached week 453.

Kamber Aydın, Ali Yorulmaz and Ahmet Gerçek come from Paris and are the Kurdish activists who have taken over the Vigil this week.

Speaking on behalf of the group Ahmet Gerçek saluted the hunger strike carried out by political prisoners against isolation.

Remembering Mahmut Yıldız and Halil Şen who sacrifice themselves in order to break isolation, Gerçek emphasized that the isolation imposed on Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan is imposed on the Kurdish people.

Ahmet Gerçek said: "We cannot talk about freedom until our Leader is liberated," and added that the Kurdish people will continue their activities wherever they are, until isolation is broken and the physical freedom of Öcalan is achieved.
