The Movement of Patriot and Revolutionary Youth (YDG-H) and the Movement of Patriot and Revolutionary Women (YDG-K) has released a statement in the wake of the killing of Kader Ortakaya by Turkish soldiers at Suruç-Kobanê border two days ago.

The statement by YDG-H and YDG-K called on the patriot youth and all circles in North Kurdistan to “rise up in commitment to the struggle of Kader comrade who was deliberately shot dead by Turkish soldiers at Suruç border”.

YDG-H and YDG-K also called for radical struggle from the Social Freedom Party Initiative (TÖPG), to which Ortakaya was member, and all democratic, left-wing and socialist circles against the policies of denial and destruction.
