Activists of the Movement of Patriotic and Revolutionary Youth (YDG-H) in Yüksekova district of Hakkari clashed with police who attempted to blockade neighborhoods as of evening yesterday.

During the past four days, youths in the district have been trying to hinder the special operation teams of police who have been attempting to blockade Kışla and Orman neighborhoods with dozens of armored vehicles.

To the police attack with intense tear gas that covered a large part of the district, youths responded with stones and molotov cocktails.

Guns were also used during yesterday's conflict which lasted till 3 at night, leaving many houses damaged.
