Yiğit: We will win all 4 deputies in Ağrı

HDP Doğubeyazıt District executive Suat Yiğit said that the sound of victory can be heard in Ağrı squares as the 14 May elections approached.

Ağrı (Agirî) has a population of 550 thousand, and over 300 thousand voters. The city will elect 4 deputies. In the 2018 General Elections, the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) won 3 of the 4 deputies with 63 percent of the vote. The Green Left Party aims to win all 4 deputies on 14 May. HDP Doğubeyazıt (Bazîd) District executive Suat Yiğit said that the sound of victory can be heard in Agirî squares as the 14 May elections approached and added that they aim to win all 4 deputies. He said that they organize festivals, public meetings and visits almost every day in city centers, villages and neighbourhoods within the scope of election activities in Ağrı and its districts.

Suat Yiğit said that the Green Left Party's election activities will continue at full speed this week.

Yiğit said that in addition to mass meetings and canvassing, “our party has mobilized to guarantee a safe lift for those citizens residing outside the city to come and vote.

The feedback we receive from the public is undoubtedly a source of morale and joy. At every door we knock, people invite us inside. In every village we visit, the people greet us with enthusiasm. For example, when we go to hang a flag in a neighbourhood or village, we can see the other end of the rope in the hands of a member of the public. This is a people's party. People believe in the Green Left Party and see the possibility to get rid of the AKP-MHP government."

Yiğit said that "the Green Left Party will win all 4 deputies. There is little time left until the elections. We will continue to work as hard as we can."
