Young Kurdish activists from Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (TCŞ ) protested against the attacks carried out by Turkey in Zap, Avashin and Metîna, which started on 24 April.
Photos of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan, TCŞ and PKK flags were carried during the march in the city, as well as a banner saying "Bijî Berxwedana Gerîla" (Long Live the resistance of the guerrillas).
The action continued with a rally in the Grigny Center area. Here, on behalf of Evry Engin Sincer People's Assembly, Kurdish politician Adil Erkek made a statement. Erkek said that the Turkish state's invasion attacks in Kurdistan are increasing by the day and that they aim at occupying the whole of Kurdistan. Stating that the Turkish state wants to completely break the communication between the Kurds by creating a buffer zone between Bakur, Bashur and Rojava, Erkek paid tribute to the brave Kurdistan guerrilla resistance in Zap, Avashn and Metîna. Stating that the resistance and struggle should not be left only on the shoulders of the guerrilla, Erkek said Kurds should support the resistance of the guerrilla wherever they are living.
