Young people in North Rhine-Westphalia call for participation in Long March for Öcalan

Kurdish and internationalist young people will be holding a Long March in Germany between 15 and 20 September under the slogan 'Freedom for Leader Öcalan, a political solution to the Kurdish question'.

Young people in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) called for participation in the Long March to be held for the physical freedom of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan that will take place from 15 to 20 September. The Long March will start in Bielefeld, and end in Duisburg.

Drawing attention to the absolute and aggravated isolation imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan, activists said: "We will be holding a march under the slogan Freedom for Leader Öcalan, a political solution to the Kurdish question to expose isolation.

The Kurdish young people got together in Düsseldorf, the capital of the state of NRW, to make a statement, and said: "We call on the people and youth of Kurdistan to join the Long March to ensure the physical freedom of Leader Öcalan."
