Young women protesting against isolation regime on Öcalan

Protests against the isolation regime imposed by the occupying Turkish state against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan are continuing to increase.

Young women living in Tıl Rifat district, Shehba, told ANHA that they will continue to struggle for Öcalan's freedom.

Newal Damirci underlined the crucial role Öcalan's idea and philosophy had in the struggle for women’s freedom.

"Öcalan's freedom is our main goal. - she said - We will continue to struggle for the freedom of the leader no matter the cost”.

Ronahi Mihemed confirmed that young women will fight for the freedom of Öcalan, indicating that they will continue to live following the direction and philosophy given by the Kurdish people’s leader.

Another young women, Elmazê Xelîl, reminded that the Turkish state is imposing such an isolation regime in order to crash Öcalan's idea and philosophy. “We will not take the struggle for Öcalan’s freedom off our struggle”, she said.

A young woman named Nurai Eli, who stated that they would continue their actions and struggle until Öcalan is finally free, said: "Any state claiming to be a democracy should stand up and protest against  isolation. Because isolation is against international laws".

The Kurdish people are carrying out daily activities in order to inform the public about the health and safety of the Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan, who is not allowed by the Turkish state to meet his lawyers and family.

The CPT (Committee for the Prevention of Torture) has faced strong criticism for not making any statement about Öcalan's health and safety conditions despite the many calls.
