23-year-old Muzaffer Gürül who has been raided bullets by soldiers after not stopping at a control point in front of the Abalı (Korxa) Gendarmerie Station on Amed-Bingöl road today has lost his life at hospital.

Soldiers performing an identity check at the control point raked the car Gürül drove when he reportedly didn't stop and continued his way during the control on the road.

The youth who was critically wounded after being hit in the head by a bullet was taken to Lice state hospital before being referred to the Dicle University Hospital in Amed.

It is guessed that Gürül, whose relatives said he didn't have a driving licence, may have therefore avoided stopping at the control point.
