Fighters and journalists of the YPG Press Office, equipped with their weapons and cameras, are actively engaged in a tireless struggle on the front lines in the operation to liberate Raqqa to bring the truth to light on the trail of the free press. The YPG Press Office is covering the ‘Great Battle’ against the ISIS gangs first hand and many of its members have fallen martyrs in this sacred cause until today since 2014.

The YPG Press Office is constantly releasing reports of the life and fight of Kurdish, Arab, Syriac and international combatants in many different languages. Parallel to their military work, the YPG Press Office is endeavouring to inform the world of the obstacles the civilians are facing in the clutches of tyranny and terror, and are striving for becoming the voice of those who have been silenced.
